Return Policy

OVERVIEW

Our refund and return policy is 30 days. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

If 30 days have passed since your purchase, a refund or exchange is not available for change of mind.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. See below.

CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS

If you change your mind within 30 days, you will be able to request a refund. Please note, refunds for change of mind incur a 20% back to shelf fee.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your credit based on criteria below.

If you wish to return an item because you have changed your mind about your purchase, Birch Creative will offer you a refund provided that:

You notify us within 30 days of purchase and return the item;
You produce either your original receipt or other adequate proof of purchase;
AND the item is in re-saleable condition, meaning that:
- It is in its original packaging, including instruction manuals and all accessories; and
- It is unworn, unused, unassembled and in its original condition.
- The product is not one where a change of mind return is not available (see below).

If these requirements are not satisfied, Birch Creative reserves the right not to offer a refund for change of mind returns.

ITEMS WHERE A CHANGE OF MIND IS NOT AVAILABLE

Birch Creative will not accept the return of items from the following categories under the change of mind returns policy under any circumstances:

We do not accept products that are of intimate nature, contain hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases. We also do not accept paints and patterns.

OTHER RETURNS

Birch Creative will accept product returns and provide you with an exchange or refund where:

The product is faulty or is not of acceptable quality; or
The product is not fit for its intended purpose; or
The product does not match the sample or our description; and
You can present your Birch Creative invoice or other adequate proof of purchase.

EXCHANGES

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@birchcreative.com.au with photos and invoice number. Subject to stock availability.

To return your product, you should mail your product to:

Note: We do not offer free shipping for returns. If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

PROOF OF PURCHASE

Returns, refunds, or exchanges must be accompanied by any one of the following proof of purchase documents:

Online Tax Invoice;
Financial statement such as a credit card statement or a bank statement (however, when the proof of purchase does not clearly itemise the goods, more than one type of proof of purchase may be required).

Note: Refunds will only be issued using your original payment method.

MISSING OR LATE REFUNDS

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed and applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
